The most frustrating thing in the world keeps happening to me at work. I answer the phone and a recorded voice says, 'Would you like to participate in a political survey? If yes, please press one.' But when I press one quick and eager-like, it hangs up on me! And then I spend like twenty minutes trying to get the connection back, all YES PLEASE PLEASE ALLOW ME TO GIVE YOU MY POLITICAL OPINIONS YES PLEASE I HAVE SEVERAL! and there's nothing. Dead air.

So today I thought, hmm, perhaps it is just that I am overeager. So I counted to three and then pressed the button, all casual, why yes, a political survey sounds intriguing...although I know nothing of politics and care even less...I watch Fox News once a month pleasepleasepleasePLEASE LET ME GIVE YOU MY OPINIONS!!1!

No go. I am thwarted. But one of these days I'll be able to fake blase and uninformed long enough to fool the machine into thinking I like George W. Bush and should be allowed to take its survey and then it'll be sorry! Muahahahhaaa!

On an entirely different note....

A couple years ago, a pair of crazy kids eloped to Vermont and giggled their way through a marriage ceremony at the Ben&Jerrys ice cream factory. Today, my stepdad brought my mom a bouquet for every year they've been married, and my mom totally forgot that this was the day and sniffled happily for a little while, and then they made fun of each other a lot while eating ice cream. They are. the cutest people. ever. The end. :)

Very sweet, yes. They're so weird but I love them. And I love this icon too--there's just something about the colors, man. :)

Oh that's *adorable*! (Your folks, not the political telemarketers.)

Hope you're doing okay in general.

I spent all day waiting for the political thing to happen again! I was prepared! I had a game plan! First time in a week, didn't happen once. Sigh.

And I'm good! Although, I am going to have my wisdom teeth out tomorrow. *shiver* I'm getting conflicting reports! I took Friday off Just In Case and some people are like, oh, you big wuss, you'll be fine by Friday, and other people are like uh...you might wanna take off till Tuesday. So we shall just have to wait and see, I guess. ;-) How're you doing?

Wisdom teeth. I had intravenous valium when I had my pulled, and it was great. By the time I could find my mouth again, there was no pain and almost no swelling left. But yeah, I've heard wildly varying stories about recovering from it.

I'm good! Caught up in spring planting and dancing (and dance politics, oy!), and not enough sparkly in my life. Miss you!
