impending doooooom
Apr. 29th, 2008 11:26 amThings that I love more than this: ......... yeah, pretty much nothing. Bandom, you win.
So, MCR on Tuesday is a maybe no-go, as I have an appointment and I may need to wait another month or two to reschedule, and if I have to wait to reschedule, I may toss myself under a train. Not really, but my impatience = epic, so. Better not to risk it. *grins*
But there's a slim chance I can reschedule for Thursday AM. Which would make my travel schedule look like this:
Sunday, NJ
Monday, MA
Tuesday, PA
Wednesday, PA
Thursday morning, MA
Thursday afternoon, as close to DC as I can drive without wanting to find a train to toss myself under.
Friday morning, DC
Friday afternoon, NYC
Saturday, CT
Sunday, MA
...
Totally do-able!
strangecobwebs, I'll bring your MCR ticket tomorrow, just in case I do miss the show.
If people need a place to crash on Sunday, my place is available. Assuming that the cats haven't ripped it apart in the week without me. I have people coming to check on them every day, but they get reaaaaally maaaad when I go away.
Now, on to more important things, like how you're all going to play loser tourist with me on Friday and go to the top of the Empire State building, take cheesy photos, and buy horrible souveniers, right? I've never been up there--when I was a kid, I refused to go on elevators, and as an adult I haven't done the touristy stuff in the city. C'mon, I'll even promise not to toss pennies over the edge, or spit on anyone!
(People in NYC I don't see enough of, any chance we could have a quick lunch & touristy jaunt Friday early afternoon?)
In other news, my hair was grown out and making me nuts so I got it cut again, and I'm really unhappy with it, my to-do list has more items on it than I have time, patience, or energy for, and my bank still hasn't gotten me a new debit card 2 requests and a month later. The Week of Doom is the least aggravating thing going, people. Yay. *grins*
