(no subject)

Went and saw The Corpse Bride yesterday and I loved it more than I can possibly say. I think I loved it more than everyone else in the theatre combined, too. I was certainly the only one who giggled the whole way through, but whatever, they don't call me Giddy for nothing.

Afterwards, we came back to my place for what was supposed to be a small party which grew and grew and required three trips to the liquor store and devastated my apartment, but was a blast. There was one brief moment where I wanted to beat someone (Jay, sitting on the roof of my downstairs neighbors porch 'Hey, Alison, I could totally get into your bedroom from here!' Yeah, thanks for increasing my sense of safety and security PS get down before you die or I'll kill you!) and one brief moment where everyone was sitting in a circle on the floor playing a card game and it was the fricking cutest thing ever, so that balances out nicely. Love those people.

Anyway. So I've got a lot more SGA-not-Popslash fans on my f'list than I used to have and I know some of you all are much with the RPS is ewwie, but OMG. I still luff it. It's the only fandom with canon that made me laugh till I was curled up in a breathless little ball, and it still does. I woke up this morning to reports that Lance bought Justin at a charity auction. Ahahahahahaaaaa. Oh, Lambs fanciers, you are the most fortunate among RPS fen.

Which reminds me, Saba? I keep forgetting to return your email and I think I lost it so: yes. I can do that in time for Trickyfish day. :)

And now, since the sun has come back from sabbatical and sent the rain back to the temp agency, I go apple picking with the most adorable small children in the world. Just what my hangover needs, yay. *G*
