(no subject)

So I left work yesterday with a fever and as I was heading out to my car, it suddenly seemed like a great idea to walk a few extra blocks in the cold and the drizzle and take a couple photos.



Now, I know what you're all thinking. You're thinking, 'Clearly Giddy was delirious when she left work and so she took a random photo, then came home and played with photoshop. Because no one could have designed that statue and not realized what it looked like. Turtle!'

Either that or you're thinking, 'Wow, Giddy was delirious. It's just a boy riding a turtle!' But if that's what you're thinking, I dunno if we can be friends because either you're way too innocent or your sense of humor has advanced beyond 12 yr old boy, which mine has not.

Anyway, I took another photo, just to be 100% positive that I captured the true spirit of the statue.

Well, whereby true spirit I mean heeeeeeeee.



Man, it's so sad how much that statue amuses me, particularly since I'm feeling much better and can no longer blame the wild snickering on the fever. *grins*

I haven't just spent the day napping, napping, napping, laughing at the turtle boy, and napping. I was productive too! See!

The Geekdom

Updated with my Atlantis stories--all seven of them. I forgot that I'd written one of them! Bad Giddy. I also fixed some broken popslash links. And it only took me, oh, three hours. I'm an HTML steamroller, people. Yep. ;-)
