Playing hooky. Well, in a sense. Mostly I called in because I did not sleep last night and so am tired and nauseated right now, but part of why I didn't sleep is because whatever I did to my hip a couple weeks ago has not improved much. Yesterday I felt all right until mini-golf, it started hurting halfway through. And after I dropped people off at home and I was getting out of my car, I stepped wrong and something popped, so. It didn't exactly hurt last night but I couldn't get comfortable lying down.

I still call my mother before I call in to work. Have to get her permission to miss a school day, hey.

Plan for today is to medicate into sleeeeeep. I have a million things that I ought to be doing, laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. All the things I plan to do on my days off. But I was too busy visiting people and hanging out after my panicked, pathetic 'Where isssss everyone???' post on Sunday. Got nothing done. Yay. :)

Oh! Did purchase a television, though. Yep. And it's too big for my living room, is monstrous huge. Kerri says I'm just not used to having a real television but, wow. Bigness. And strangely enough, the Best Buy people would not let me borrow one of their crew so someone could carry it up the stairs for me. Imagine! I'd have brought him right back! Or not, you know, depending on how useful I found him. But I'd have contemplated a return and surely that's what counts. Um. Right?

You know, I'm really really awful about making biggish purchases. I had panic attacks before I committed to purchasing my computer and I had to make someone else go with me because I knew I wouldn't have bought it without pressure. Same thing with the television yesterday--I called Kerri and said, I'm getting a TV and I need you to make sure I actually get it. *G*

Last night, Merry said, 'but just imagine--giant Chris and Lance and JC and Joey and Justin on your television!' and I'm contemplating that this morning. A pain pill, a heating pad, and PopOd...sounds wonderful. Ooooh, PopOd bootleg maybe. The striptease, but on like twice the TV I used to have....

Actually, I might not survive that. Hmm. The old TV was 17" and I almost died of Chris-love. Hmm hmm. Guess I won't know unless I try it, huh? If I don't come back, you all will know why. ;-)
