lisan's birthday! Oh dear. I hope it was fabulous and many good things happened, even if I'm hoping so a little late. ;-) February babies rule! unite! control the weather! are cooler! Wooo!
So speaking of weather, I had to walk like 93 miles last night in the freezing cold. Went to a party at a friend's college and had to park so far away and at the bottom of such a big hill that I felt perhaps they should have sent a Sherpa to guide me but alas! Sherpas are apparently thin on the ground at UMass. Also I didn't really park that far away and the hill was like a little lump in the ground. But someone told me it was -2 degrees before the wind chill and I'm pretty sure my lungs got frostbit, which made it very, very hard to walk around. Going back at like 1AM was way worse, waiting for my car to warm up nearly killed me, and I still can't take a normal breath without coughing and wanting to cry for my Mommy. Ouch. /whine
Uploaded some new icons the other day.
The one with the little butterfly thingies probably won't hang around long but I love the other two. The stars I like a lot; I was trying to make an icon using some lines from a favorite poem by Robert Frost, I think the title is Something Like A Star. It might not be, I just remember the poem. I couldn't make it work cause I couldn't settle for anything less than too much text. The icon reminds me though, and I'm pleased. The kittentrick one, that's one of my fave pics.mickeym had/has? an icon of the other favorite, where JC is dancing braids!Chris around and they're both grinning hugely, but this one. Yes. Love. :)
All right, so I've been stalling. I have to go to a family thing with my stepfather's relatives and it's going to involve so much Bush-is-Great talk from his brothers that I'll want to start a protest, and apparently it's threatening to rain in Daytona. According to my mother, my stepfather is currently doing a dance of rage around the living room. Hurray. *sigh*
On the upside--meatballs! And I might be able to play on AIM if I piss off the Republicans so bad that they banish me from the kitchen. AIM name Giddygeeky. Talk if you see me, keep me from going insane. More insane. Whatever. ;-)
