May. 11th, 2002 06:08 pmOh, my. I finally set up the new computer enough to go on a downloading spree, and of course it was all nsync music. My sister looked at the new playlist and sighed--Iused to be cool, apparently, but now I suck. :) Had to remind her that when her fiance came to spend a month with us he listened to my Celebrity CD--it was on repeat for about three days--and one of her hardcore/emo songs, whereas I not only like nsync but also the emo. Hah!
Anyway, went straight for the stuff I hear mentioned so repeatedly--O Holy Night (which is probably also my favorite Christmas carol ever and one I can be counted on to sing on any given day, other people's opinions be damned! *G*) the reggae ByeByeBye, JC's song with Euge Groove, and Sailing live with Christopher Cross.
The BBB thing is cute, and I like it. Give In To Me prompted a shout from the sister, "Are you watching porn? That sounds like it should be on a porny soundtrack!" Hee. I didn't disagree.
But anyway.
The love I'm feeling for Sailing is *intense*. I can absolutely see why people mention it so much. O Holy Night too. I just can't believe the way all of their voices come out so well, each one standing out but blending together at the same time. Marvelous. They really ought to just hang out in my kitchen and sing me acapella music all day. And maybe have sex. Maybe. :) If I'm feeling generous and give them a break from the singing.
Or they could sing and have sex at the same time! Whee.

Mmmm. Now I wanna write fic, which reminds me--
Found a disk with stories! Not all of them and not the updated versions, but some of them and far enough along that I'm mostly content. I'll probably celebrate with posting sometime this weekend. If I can get the incredibly tender images from Kim's new story out of my head long enough to form my own images, anyway. ;-)
