I require distracting tonight, and since I can't seem to focus on reading or TV, why not meme?
ignazwisdom reminded me of that photo one -- anyone want to tell me what to take a picture of?
BTW, I am very jealous of everyone's antibiotics. My doctor gave me inhalers instead of a Z-pack. I shake my fist at him, in a tired, still coughing, stuffed up, and miserable kind of way. Con crud! Harrumph.

Date: 2009-04-13 11:10 pm (UTC)Jack the Cat is another story.
Joining him on the dining room table (SIGH) is Larry, the sock puppet I made in 5th grade home ec, who totally counts too. *G*

Date: 2009-04-13 11:12 pm (UTC)I've been using Zicam which has held it off just enough that I mostly just have post-nasal drip. Which is making me cough like crazy. Boo!
Take a picture of... the first purple thing that you see!

Purple thing, sans cat, turns out to be a sandcastle.

Date: 2009-04-13 11:45 pm (UTC)This was a tough one. I had to go into the back bedroom to find something that reminded me of Christmas, and what you got is the exciting and fascinating bag of wrapping paper and ribbons that hangs out behind the treadmill. *G*

Date: 2009-04-15 04:18 pm (UTC)...I have watched this a lot in the last day.
They had something similar happen a couple of years ago (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxOytYLlhiQ") and the guy went on to blitz the competition and won recording contracts etc.

PS I unpacked today and your Crocs were mixed in with my stuff. Oops! I don't wear flip flops so all my thievery is for naught. Email me your address and I'll mail them off!

These are all my favorite books. You can tell because they're in this bookcase:
Organized by, um, a system that makes sense in my head. /o\ People are always trying to help me pack or unpack books when I move and it's like, nono, don't worry about it, there's a SYSTEM. Based entirely on how much I LIKE stuff.
This is my favorite bookshelf! House of Leaves, Temeraire, Michael Chabon, Peter S Beagle, Terry Pratchett, Nail Gaiman & Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palahnuik, and some stuff that's a little more random -- I do love the Torchwood novels, no matter how much others may mock!
But I only really like Joe Hill -- he's tucked in there because I haven't decided where else to put him yet. On the shelf with the Stephen King novels seems disrespectful, though it might be good to separate SK from Dean Koontz. Decisions, decisions. Just watch, Joe Hill will be the DOWNFALL of my entire SYSTEM and I'll have to START FROM SCRATCH just to accomodate him!
...*cough*
Anyway, that shelf is my favorite because those are my comfort reading novels these days. The end. *G*

Also it misses you. It has lost its Lea-shaped indentations!
