Last night, I hit the point of tired where I was basically horizontal in the driver's seat, mumbling about how much I love Fraser/RayK, and loveyouallwrong said, "You know what would wake you up? Taking the shortcut down Scary Death Road!" and I said, "Noooooooo!" and she said, "Oh, come on, adrenaline rush!" and I said, "okay."

MISTAKE.

The one lane dirt road with only an abandoned farmhouse and a cemetery on it? Just TRY it at midnight. Lea made a voicepost (which I keep listening to, hee) because if we died, we wanted fandom to know what had happened.

The road seemed waaaay longer than last time, and it was all blackness over the fields, and the trees were reaching for the car. You can't really tell what I'm whimpering saying in the background but it was, "I've seen this movie, too! It doesn't end well AT ALL!...Where's the haunted house?" And then the house was RIGHT THERE and seemed about a million feet closer to the road! Creepy.

We turned the corner to go past the old cemetery and Lea was like WHAT'S THAT? WHAT IS THAT? and all I could see were the shadows the headlights were making move over the gravestones, and we basically freaked out, not gonna lie. She was laughing at me after but my hands were shaking and sweaty!

The adrenaline rush did keep me going during the hour between dropping her off and getting home, though. *grins*

We'd gone to Philly to see fangirls and ****--Saturday, me and loveyouallwrong made the long drive down and if you're thinking, gosh, that must've been deep conversation, yes. Yes, it was. "Well, enough about road kill, let's talk about dubcon." Srs bzns!

But we made it to riadsala's apartment, met bayleaf there, yay! and commenced talking about many other deep, serious topics in the long hours before the rum was gone.

Then we...watched a slideshow of Lea's pictures of P.Stump.

371 pictures. 45 minutes. We watched like it was TV. Our commentary was amazing! "Oh, I love this one! Oh, I love THIS one! Oh! I love this one! ...Patrick, take that goddamned jacket off, do you WANT to die of heatst--oh, pause it, I LOVE this one!"

When you wake up bayleaf with your verbal flails of adoration, you know you're being ridiculous. At that point there was nothing to do but finally go to bed.

As an aside, I don't think I've been warm since the Lowell show in November. *G*

On Sunday, we met the internet for a screening of **** Live. We took over a block in The Historic Town of Wayne, PA--which ate my debit card as revenge (whereby we mean I think I left it in the ATM machine, oops).

Then we took over a cafe that couldn't make PB&J's without missing an ingredient but at least they had a nice, isolated upstairs room for us to play in, and then we took over 3 rows of seats and trivia in the theatre, and then we took over a Cold Stone Creamery.

Basically, the internet travels in large packs, and is quite hilarious. <3<3<3

**** Live is awesome. We enjoyed it a lot! Fanservice at every turn, and we just saw the concert part! I can't wait to get my hands on extras.

Lea and I did not get lost at any point on our return trip home and anyone who tells you otherwise is a dirty, rotten liar. It just took us 4 hours to get from Philly to the George Washington Bridge. Somehow. Inexplicably.

Another hour to get through the tolls, during which we talked a lot about Greta/Patrick and how adorable it would be if she grabbed him by the collar and kissed him all she wanted (not that a certain song was on repeat or anything) and pretty much tried to be zen while wanting to die.

...

So hey, guys, that was hilarious, can we do it again next week?

Hee! I did need petting last night to chill out! Scary Death Road is actually named a variation of Scary Death Road. No lie! It's that ridiculous! But kind of fun, the same way horror movies are fun. Stuff like that = hilarious.

The entire weekend was kind of made of hilarious. And people having revelations about the horrible things they'd do to Andy Hurley against a wall, actually, as I'm reminded by your icon. *grins*

YOU ARE MY FAVORITE! Seriously, dude, after coming home and seeing all the 'one year anniversary of MJ' posts I realized, holy shit, I've been in bandom for a year. That, of course, necessitated an anniversary post of my own, which in turn required re-reading my (few) bandom-related posts. Most of those were concert recaps, and I am freshly reminded of the fact that you are my favorite.

It was awesome to see you this weekend! Gosh, when am I going to see you...oh, right, I bought plane tickets for the weekend after next. So. Soon, then?
