DEAR INTERNETS,

HOME FROM NYC. EXHAUSTED. SUBJECTED MANY PEOPLE TO THE SPN THEORY OF 'SHOTGUN SHUTS THEIR CAKEHOLE' ON THE CAR RIDE. CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU HOW AWESOME YESTERDAY WAS.

Well, I can tell you a little bit now, and without caps even. Without all caps anyway. Saturday was AWESOME. I love fangirls, and the HOTEL WE STAYED AT <3<3<3 and fangirls, even [livejournal.com profile] loveyouallwrong although she IS a furry, no matter what she says about that.

The people at the Fillmore had NO FUCKING CLUE what they were doing, except Zack who is made of win and sneaking up on Lea, and we had a MANDATORY BATHROOM BREAK, and we were on the side barricade, 10 feet from Jon Walker, who has amazing hands and the twinkliest eyes you've ever seen, and Brendon Urie was filled with GLEE--

the crowd: *spontaneous arm waving*
Brendon Urie: *GLEE!!!!!!*
the crowd: *claps in time*
Brendon Urie: *GLEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!*

Oh, also, the new songs are awesome, although I have no idea what they're about. One was about change! The other one was either about bushels of apples, or bad habits, I don't know which! And the rearranged songs from Fever You Can't Sweat Out were great. A performance made of win.

And there was a Q&A of awesome, which included Ryan hugging Spencer, and Spencer saying, "Why would you want to listen to your own brain voice when you could listen to John Lithgow reading Dr. Seuss?" and Brendon serenading Jon with a song from Aladdin and trying to hug him and Jon smacking at him, and the entire internet simultaneously making a 'smoking weed' hand gesture when Panic was trying to answer a question about their inspiration for the Honda Civic car. ♥the internet♥ and Jon Walker's amazing EYES and SARCASM and ADORABLE.

Afterwards, we walked FOREVER to find food, then half of the internet bought alcohol and went back to the hotel to drink, and half the internet went to Angels & Kings to drink for a while, then ALL of us reunited in our hotel room with the drinking until way late, and it was hilarious. There are voice posts. And photos. Heehee. The 6 people in our room (designed for 3!) made one giant bed and went to sleep, and were woken up by Ryan Ross as a pigeon--no, really, this persistent monotone coo that stopped when promised scarves--and all was amazing.

OH AND ME AND [livejournal.com profile] loveyouallwrong'S NEW BAND IS GOING TO BE CALLED BANDWIDTH WATCH FOR OUR CD IN NEVER, but wouldn't that be a totally guaranteed win?

I haven't really slept since Thursday, so I'm going to go do that. It has never felt so good to be sitting down somewhere and not be moving. But hey, you know--bandom, I love you guys for totally coming to the con Panic threw us in NYC for my birthday, and for being so great and bringing no drama, and piling on the giant bed, and just being an awesome cross-section of fandoms, so I can talk about Due South and SGA and Torchwood and SPN and bands, and no matter what, someone knows what I mean, and everyone is willing to say, "Good story, have another scarf." ♥!

*GLEE*

The only thing that could possibly make up for not getting to be there is getting to read the posts of everyone who did go and having them be so full of awesome.

*glomp hugs and passes you another scarf*

Heeheehee! I only wish the ENTIRE internet had been able to come with--even those not in bandom would've appreciated the hilarity. It was such a good time! *glombs you back!*

Yeah, it was a LOT of fun. I really loved the rearranged songs, and the new stuff really rocked. Plus they just seemed to be so relaxed and having such a good time--it was nice to see, you know? Ryan Ross was cheerful! WTF! *grins*

Have an awesome time and tell us all about it!

This entire post is pretty much so awesome that I could almost throw up. ...I mean, in a not at all gross way, I am just SO OVERWHELMED with squee and love (for those boys and especially for fandom, omg, internets, SO MUCH LOVE) that I lack any socially acceptable way of expressing it! So. Um. YAY. *is fucking thrilled y'all had such a good time and came back to tell us aaaaaaaaaall about it fwee*

I originally wanted to friend you because you're doing the crazy, first-weeks-of-May dash to see boys play music. Then I came across this entry.
