Okay, I'm kind of freaking out a wee little bit.

First off, I haven't been home all week, I've been working 12+ hour days, and my house is a wretched pit. By which I mean it's kind of a little messy but those who know me understand that a little messy = stressed!Giddy. And tomorrow I have a whole BUNCH of people I work with coming over for a dinner party, and I just spent $100 at the grocery store on cheese and fakemeat pepperoni and cheese and bread and cheese. And there are SHENANIGANS on Saturday to arrange, which means cancelling the plans I already had for a bday celebration, and figuring out who gets my tickets, and who is in my car, and where we are staying because guaranteed I'm going to be useless to drive after.

So, okay. People who are getting tickets from me, please email me your FULL NAMES. I will bring you the release forms (bwahahaha!) My email is giddygeek at gmail, although I think you all already have that.

People who are riding with me, I'm thinking meet me at my house and we'll leave at 11? Allowing time for plenty of getting lost. *grins*

Is anyone staying in the city? I'm thinking of snagging a hotel room not far out, and I think it would be awesome if we could arrange somehow to have a bunch of fangirls at one hotel, or if there's somewhere people are crashing that has room for 4 more, that would be nifty.

Also also, I have one more ticket available if someone wants it. I have no more room in the car so you'll have to get there yourself, and you must be over 18 with valid ID, but that's like 99.999% of my friendslist. *grins* Just let me know.

Okay. *deep breaths* Thank you to everyone so much for the birthday wishes--I had a very good day, including confetti and eclipses and tickets to shenanigans and crab rangoons the size of apple turnovers. I mean to reply to comments as soon as life slows down a little, but that may be March. *g* Most likely Sunday, though.

And the LOVE MEME. YOU GUYS. <3<3<3<3<3 misspamela pointed out the thread of love for me and I just. *flail* It was SO NICE to come home to on my birthday, and I just refreshed a minute ago, and. Seriously. You are all my very favorites, and I will feed you bacon anytime!

Now I go clean my apartment a little bit, by which I mean shove all the mess into an unused bedroom, and try not to freak out about if I have clean clothes. Awesome. *G*

Driving after shows does = horribly bad. I'll look on the internet for a reasonable hotel room tomorrow! I have had such a long week and am so tired that I'm pretty sure an afternoon of squee is going to wipe me out, so I'm VERY glad that sounds all right to you. I'll email with options tomorrow!

Well yes. That kind of cracks me up a whole lot.

I don't really know NYC well, but I do know that I've stayed at the Pod Hotel before because it was the cheapest thing around that wasn't some skeezy hostel. Very funky-looking rooms, but relatively cheap, comparatively speaking.

I think we got a skeezy not-calling-itself-a-hostel but whatev! Bring a sheet in your overnight bag to avoid contact with their bedding! *grinning* We picked it because close + cheap, and it's only one short night anyway. But all the info is in your email. See you Saturday!
