Cobras this weekend! \o/

...15 degree high temperature on Sunday.

Friendslist, will you be in line for the evening Cobras show? What time will you be there? Would you huddle like penguins with me and [livejournal.com profile] misspamela and [livejournal.com profile] fayemeadows?

Quite frankly, I'm thinking things like 'the space is small enough that I don't care where we are,' and also '15 fucking degrees, are you serious, I'm going to wear 17 layers just to get from the garage to the front door,' and also 'if Gabe Saporta offers you soup, do you take it because it's 15 fucking degrees outside and maybe Alex made it, or do you HIDE.' *grins* But if there are fangirls hanging out, I am all about that and would not want to miss it.

And in conclusion: Cobras! This weekend! \o/

I will indeed be in line and would be quite amenable to huddling, in my many layers of Hello Kitty gear. No idea when - I think I'm hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] book_of_calm and probably others beforehand, because we either couldn't or chose not to go to the matinee.

I would accept soup from Gabe. Srsly.

Cool. It sounds like most people are no more enthused about spending time outside than I am, so we'll probably move our huddling indoors--Starbucks or something. And spend as little time in line as possible. Details to follow!

When I'll be there is dependent on when [livejournal.com profile] janet_carter will be there, since I can't get in without her and my ticket. But I would be good with huddling!

Cobras, yay!

Yes, I must meet someone to get my ticket too. But it sounds like pretty much everyone is intending to be in the neighborhood anyway--I think we're gonna do a very low key kind of meetup at the Starbucks a couple hours before the show and sort of make that a headquarters. *grins* More details later, hope you can meet us there!

Yes, I am also in teh camp of needing [livejournal.com profile] janet_carter to get me my ticket too!

I'm coming, but not until late 5:30ish, which I know is cutting it close, but it's the way it has to be.

I'm also debating the clothes\no clothes issue. I mean, I don't want to get stuck with eight layers to hold onto once I'm inside, but...15 degrees is pretty fucking cold.

From: [identity profile] giddygeek.livejournal.com
Yeah, I don't think anyone's going to be waiting in line much earlier than that, tbh. COLD. VERY COLD.

As far as clothes/no clothes goes, there IS a coat check, so at least you wouldn't have to carry all the layers--I vote for clothes! Frostbite BAD! *grins*

I will be there way early as I will also be at the early show. You will know me by my turquoise hair and BIG HUGE GRIN (and also by the fact that I have slept at your house...whatever)

Hee, yay your turquoise hair and big huge grin! We're thinking of meeting up at the Starbucks a couple hours before the show, hanging out, and then doing a not-terribly-long wait in line--mmm, delicious fortifying hot caffeinated beverages. *grins*

Well, looking at my list of people who are going, there are going to be more than THIRTY fangirls for the night show, so we can all huddle together for warmth. \o/

As for times, no clue. I'll be there for the matinee along with other people, but I think we will probably go somewhere for food and warmth afterwards before jumping back in line. Though who knows how late it will be when we get out of that show.

Thirty fangirls! Oh man, I love bandom SO MUCH. That's a truly awesome and ridiculous number, considering the overall size of the crowd.

We're going to hang out at the Starbucks beforehand, then do a not-so-long wait in the line--maybe meet up like 2 hrs or so before the show, I think is the rough plan. See you either there or in line? And I'll grab my ticket then--I really think chances of getting a CT ticket are v. slim, I'm not counting on it at all, sadly.

Thirty fangirls. I just. I'm still boggling. *grins*

I'm going to the early show, and after that I was planning to grab something to eat and then I have to round up a RL friend, so I don't know when I'll get there. But I will gladly huddle for warmth!

We're going to be at the Starbucks a couple hours before doors for the second show--like, two hours before--if you're around, you should come huddle with us over warm coffees! *grins*

I feel lame. Cobras? *doesn't know* I'm supposed to be in music and dvds this Wednesday and Thursday! I'm so not knowledgeable of current music. ^^;;

15 degrees? Fahrenheit? Boo! You should test out that cunning green woolen hat. ;) (I feel that needs commas, but I can't for the life of me figure out where. *loses*)

Heee. Cobras = Cobra Starship. And look, I can help you with both music AND dvds: they did music for Snakes on a Plane! *wins* And also are generally awesome and hilarious.

I SHOULD test out that cunning green woolen hat! This is precisely the crowd that would most appreciate it, I think. I LOVE that thing, btw. I make everyone look at it. *grins* And it'd come in quite handy in the 15 degree weather, ugh. Good idea!

Someone can just make a car run before we get in to dump all the clothes. Although I'm layering like a monkey-flipper because I got sick as hell last time. Grrr.

Ugh, no kidding. Con crud, no con--so unfair! But it was SO COLD in CT I'm surprised we didn't all end up dead in a ditch before the show started.

And it was like 25 degrees warmer than Sunday will be. Ha! Ha! o.O

Frick. We are going to freeze. I'd take Gabe's basement over standing in 17 degree weather. :P

It'll be good for us! It'll be a bonding experience! It'll be, like, those crazy assholes who dive into the Atlantic ocean in Maine in January just be-fucking-cause.

Or something. We may die. I dunno. But we'll be okay with Starbucks, a million layers, and a short wait, I think. *grins*

From: [identity profile] fayemeadows.livejournal.com
Yes, coffee and layers are a must. Thank god for a venue with a coatcheck!

I will be there! In twenty-five (appr.) layers because, well, I will be arriving by a combination of T and walking and I do not want to die of cold. I have no clue when, exactly, I am going to arrive, though, as I may or may not be at the matinee. But! I am always up for penguin huddling!

(I am even more up for [livejournal.com profile] janet_carter's idea to hang out somewhere warm, though, especially since the space is small enough and I've happily watched shows there from waaaaaaay in the back and am totally not stressing the whole 'pushing my way to the front' game.)

Yaaaaay. I think we're going to go with [livejournal.com profile] janet_carter's suggestion of Starbucks, which is v. close. Currently, Faye and I are thinking we'll be there 2 hours before the show, and we'll meet whoever can meet us there, then do a brief-as-possible wait in line. *grins*

It will be good to see you and yes, enjoy the Cobras in a not-huge place--that might not happen again anytime soon, considering how well these shows sold, I think!

Thank god the Middle East has a coat check, is what I say. A coat check that may be overflowing on Sunday.

I'm also not too excited about the idea of huddling for hours, as much as I love being penguins with all of you. Maybe hang out being fangirls someplace warmer beforehand (coffee, bar - the Asgard can hold a pretty big group; or, hmm, there's a chance I could offer my house, but I'd need to check on whether roommates will be around), and end up wherever we end up inside? Or trade off turns between holding our spot in line and visiting Starbucks.

I am game for all of those suggestions. If this place is as small as people are saying I think we'll be able to see no matter where we are.

*nodnods* The Starbucks would be perfect, actually--it's so close. Faye and I are currently planning to be there like, 2 hours before doors, and we'll meet with whomever wants to meet us there, and then do a brief wait in line once fortified with delicious hot beverage. *grins* I hope you can meet us there--it'll be good to see you so long after last seeing you! *G*

Starbucks a couple hours beforehand sounds excellent to me - I'll see you there.

Oh yays. We're actually going to huddle at the Starbucks about 2 hours before doors for the evening show. The general consensus = waiting in line in 15 degree weather sucks ass and it's not like you can be so far away that the band is blurry dots on a screen, so. Hope very much to see you there, and that you get tickets! I can't believe how fast and thoroughly these shows sold out!

*nodnod* That's exactly what Faye and I were discussing in email this afternoon--well, not the T part, but the Starbucks. Current plan I've been spreading around a little: meet at Starbucks 2 hours before doors, huddle over warm coffees, chat, and then enjoy a BRIEF wait in line. *grins* It would be AWESOME if you guys met us there!

As I have no life, I was thinking of coming in around one-thirty. Even if other people aren't around, Pandemonium Books is in Central Square, and that's a good time-waster. Mmm, geekitude. I'm sure other things are in Central, just I don't actually know anything besides the bookstore and the club. Because those are the only things I go to Central Square for.

Starbucks sounds cool, though, because I was trying to plan things with people (as [livejournal.com profile] sofiaviolet noted) and I'm terrible at planning things. *has not at all been wandering Boston-based journals of people she hasn't friended yet. honest.*
