As many of you know,
bayleaf used to be my favorite. However, over the course of her visit this weekend, I learned that she doesn't like pineapple on her pizza, can't watch The Office, and is totally insane about the appropriate ratio of chocolate chips per cookie. She actually believes in following the recipe, if you can believe it!
And I don't know how I managed to ignore the fact that she's a total weirdo for as long as I did, but now that I'm aware, it's like--well, I can't unknow her obsession with Sudoku.
I did actually end up defriending her for a while after she got bossy about the process of mixing cookie dough. And then I complained about her to
misspamela, who just laughed and laughed. Apparently
bayleaf was complaining about me to MissP in another IM window at the time. IDEK. It was pretty epic.
Well, in a really, really lowkey and lazy sort of way, but epic nonetheless
On Sunday, we patched things up--I had already refriended her, so that made it easier I guess; good thing I have no backbone--and we went up to visit MissP.
janet_carter and
lordessrenegade came over and we sort of half-watched **** Live in between other discussions, so there was a lot of blahblahblah CROTCH SHOT! blahblahblah SLO-MO NUZZLING!
Oh, bandom. So much fan service all the time! I guess that's what happens when the biggest shipper and BNF in your fandom is, you know, Pete Wentz. <3
We also flailed over dS--I had actually forgotten how slashy Odds was. I know! But there's so much packed into that episode that I feel it's understandable how I forgot about them playing for air! <3<3<3 Then we spent some time being entranced all over again by Sports Night. Danny, you guys. DANNY. <3
Then, after delicious blueberry crumble time, I dropped Alanna off at the airport and went home. So far as I know, she made it home to DC okay, but, you know, see if I ever pick her up in Minneapolis again. Sheesh, what a nerd.
The cookies did turn out pretty good, though. Recipes. Who knew?
