I have a doctor's appointment at 1 that I am all O.O about, and my brain voice is pretty much like a lolspeak recording on repeat: do not want, fail, ur doin it rong, etc. And the thing is, it's not a bad appointment! I'm not likely to get poked with any needles and I don't have to take off my pants, so whatever, right? except do not waaaaaaaant! Noooooo!
So anyway, here. ( Have some photos of my cats on stuff. )
Sally turns a year old this month, guys. ♥♥♥
Also, six years ago today, I posted my first popslash story to an email list because if you're going to start posting RPS, April Fool's Day is as good a time as any! And
rhyssj was like, "Hey, you don't suck, wanna come to LJ?" I already had an LJ that I never used, so I said, "Well, I'll never remember to use it, but I'll try?" and then I posted a story without a cut tag, and iirc no one even said anything about that, they just said nice things about the story.
Fandom on LJ was still kind of a baby then! *grins*
And now look at LJ, and look at the stupid trail of fandoms I can't let go of, and the--I don't even know how many stories I've written in the past six years, but it's many. Many. MANY. And yet still probably about half the number ofthe mostly really awful stories I wrote in X-Files fandom in 3 years.
I'm writing at about a quarter of my early speed. Consider that, current beta people who hate me for writing fast. Haha! Small bursts! And you guys are getting me while I'm comparatively decent, even if everything does come out all in brain voice and only sometimes in coherent English. Man, are you ever lucky.
Anyway, this was the LJ equivalent of clinging to the doorway with your fingernails digging in and making monotone all caps cat macro protests about buckets or something. Fail. Gotta go. BRB!
