kind of literally stuck
Jan. 17th, 2008 10:23 am1) Hi!
2) Pre-Cobras evening show Sunday. Starbucks. I want to be there ~2 hours before the show for hanging out, and then judging whether or not it's worth it to go outside for more than a minute in the 15 degree weather. *grins* I'm dragging
fayemeadows and
misspamela with me and it sounds like several others will also be there. If you'll be around, come say hi!
3) I love Torchwood. It's just--it's so perfect for me. I know a lot of people who have very valid critiques of S1, but I love it to the point where I DON'T have valid critiques. It pushes all my cracked out premise, slashy wallow, gorgeous people who banter buttons, then it pushes them again, and I luff it.
3B) Except sometimes Gwen. 95% of the time I like her fine, and then 5% of the time I want to smack her.
4) I'm stuck in training sessions this week. I'm EXHAUSTED. I'm so tired. I hate real estate. And the next couple nights I have a ton of errands to run after work, and my apartment needs to be deep-cleaned before anyone sets foot in it, and I'm tiiiiiiiired. Faye, you may find me asleep in a pile of laundry, idek. People I need to email/reply to, I will do it tonight, I swear.
5) I'm trying to get my laptop working again, with some limited success. I think it logs me into AIM and the jabber thing automatically--if you've messaged me and I haven't replied, I'm (probably) not being a jerk, I'm just not actually at that computer. But now the screen is dead again, so I have no idea. I could hear it pinging last night while I kept rebooting it, I just couldn't SEE anything. Sigh.
5B) Not that I am generally an awesome communicator, as most of those who've tried to IM me, email me, or call me...ever...can attest. o.O
6) Back to training. Did you know that something like 58% of MA realtors have had no transactions--no houses sold or bought through them--in 15 months? But don't worry, gang, the economy is juuuuuuuuust fine.
