(no subject)
I wrote a little story for the Torchwood flashfic Vacation challenge: Tropical Climes. I wrote an original version of it during the Muskrat Jamboree Sit Down, Shut up and Write hour, so I'm kind of sentimentally attached. Aww, Jamboree. ♥
Actually, in my head, this one fits the Vacation challenge twice over. I wrote it while I was on vacation, AND I sent Jack and Ianto on a sort of mini-vacation. Clearly I'm awesome. This story, though, is fluff. Think of it as 900 words of beach reading. ;-)
Also while I'm here I just wanted to say hi! A lot of new people friended me, and I friended a lot of new people after the Jamboree. Those who friended me--I don't post much locked stuff and I always announce fic, so don't feel like you're missing anything if I'm not on your friendslist. Defriend at will if I turn out to be more boring than anticipated. ;-) People I friended--don't feel obligated to friend me back! I'm just kind of naturally nosy and I like to keep up with the news on people I've met. No big.
And now I attempt to go back to work. Friday is my busy day and really I should be churning out ads, but I've got Nyquil brain. I'm feeling pretty dull and fuzzy, and all I want to do is stare at Livejournal and DailyKos all day, man. Con crud. Not for the win at all!
