Mar. 28th, 2007 05:37 pmI have been on vacation this week. Yay! But super busy. Boo! And kind of stressed out about work to the point where, um, I went in today 'to visit' for an hour.
It was a good idea, really, because now I'm sure that everything is fine, I didn't forget to do anything, the sky hasn't fallen, we're good. Whew. Also they didn't forget to feed the sea monkeys they gave me for my birthday, and T. remembers her coming-over-to-feed-the-cat instructions. My coworkers rock.
Jack the Cat has seen less of me this week than he usually does when I am NOT on vacation, so he has draped himself across my ankles to purr and purr and purr, apparently just because I am here and sitting still. Wait until he sees me digging for my suitcase in a couple hours--he loves that, boy. I expect to emerge scarred but victorious from the ruins of the closet, suitcase and mangled sweaters in hand.
In and around all the other things I needed to get done, I looked in a couple places for something fun to wear to the Jamboree, and came up with nothing. Well, with one shirt that looked super awesome in the dressing room, but I must've been wearing someone else's breasts at the time. I tried it on again at home yesterday and it was so bad that I knew I'd never wear it, but I drove to Providence to make other people look and assist me in the mocking. \o/ I have plenty of perfectly fine clothes so it's no huge loss, but I haven't bought anything new except work clothes in months. Sigh. Insert standard complaint about spring clothes being too bright, too fluffy, too pattern-y, and too plain. Sometimes all at once. Curses, spring! Curses. ;-)

If it were possible for me to rain <3 and ♥ down on this clip I would totally do so. There is something to love about every single second of it!
