I stopped at B&N the other day, before going to see Elektra (verdict: better than anticipated, and I want to see future!fic Elektra/Abby). Spent a chunk of gift certificate money and am currently reading Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers. It's insanely fascinating. Gross and morbid, yes, and I don't think I'd like the author as a person and shut up, I can too be judgmental about writers as people based on a single book. *G* But fascinating. My mother got to hear all about it over lunch at a Chinese restaurant and will probably never be the same again. :)

Which speaking of. Went shopping for clothes. Am unlikely to recover. Am wishing there was a magic spell that would keep favorite old pants from ever wearing out. Am also wishing pink was not a color that could be reproduced in fabric. Please send magic spell and black sweaters STAT.

Hung out with [livejournal.com profile] bayleaf. Again, am unlikely to recover. She's weird. But we made pizza, the dough from scratch and everything, and it was fantastic. I now have photos of homemade pizza fresh from the oven, which does too make me cool.

Due to bronchitis (which is pretty much resolved) and weird vertigo-inducing dreams (which seem to be based on House of Leaves), I haven't slept in my bed since, like, before Christmas. I've been sleeping on my couch, which is actually a loveseat, because both the coughing and the vertigo were better when I slept sitting up. However, due to the fact that, you know, bronchitis, weird dreams, loveseat, I haven't slept well at all in almost a month. I'm starting to feel weirdly zombie-like, and also kind of desperate, and random, hence the update. Will be attempting to sleep in the bed tonight. Wish me luck!

Oh, also, the obligatory blackout report. During the LJ blackout (paid users, collect two weeks of comp time here), I collected links for a Trickyfish links archive update, whoo. Okay, so I spent a lot of time bogged down and rereading old favorites, but whatever. Totally worth it. And yet, sent no feedback. Suck. Will work on feedback after update, as well as fic requests.

Speaking of, is it just me or is there an odd scarcity of Chris-centric fic? I can't even remember the last time I read a really good Timbertrick story, and the last Chris/JC I read was my own. Am I just missing stuff, or is fanfic!Chris as deep in hiding as hiatus!Chris?

Recs totally appreciated, if I am just missing stuff!
