May. 19th, 2004 09:35 pmI write up livejournal entries a couple times a week, and then don't post them. I do the same thing with comments too, every. single. day. I suck. But as of sometime in April, I've had this journal for two years. And April 1st was the 2yrs-of-posting-popslash-iversary. April Fool's Day! It seemed appropriate. I still had popslash shame at the time. ;-)
Fannish status: Working on an update for the Trickyfish archive. Working on my own fic, which is much more frustrating and going much more slowly than the archive. Reading more badfiction than is really good for me. Rilly rilly wishing we had a Celebrity DVD. And dude, wishing there was better planning behind the CFTC stuff, it frustrates me just to read of the trouble people are having.
Nonfannish status: Apartment hunting threatens to eat my soul. Weight loss is apparently noticeable! Cai'lin, you are now my favorite person in the world! The lovely sunburn attained on Sunday when I spent four hours outside while my sunscreen sat in my car is peeling now, which is thrilling. I still can't seem to take Chicago out of the DVD player except for to watch LOTR, and I'm so excited about Shrek 2 and PoA that it's a little sad. Fortunately, the dog food delivery guy and our account rep at the T&G are both as excited as I am, so at least I do not feel alone.
My sister and brother-in-law celebrated their second anniversary and Trish's 22nd birthday on Monday. They were both pleased to share the joy with people getting married here in MA, and my stepfather giggled adorably while watching news footage of one bride sweeping the other into her arms. It was a very good start to the week, I think.
And now to gather more links. Every time I think, there couldn't possibly be another trickyfish story on the internet, I am proven wrong. Not that I mind. ;-)
