So. I was driving home from [livejournal.com profile] snacky's house tonight (so great to not have to drive a freaking hour! yay!) and as I was pulling off the highway, the Jordan's Furniture guys had this commercial for a special Wednesday night on WBZ 4 for Jack Williamson's Wednesday's Child thing.

For those who don't know, he's a local news anchor and for 20 years he's had a special where I guess every week he highlights a child who needs to be adopted. It's going to be kind of an update program on a lot of the kids. Why the Jordan's Furniture guys had a commercial for it I do not know, but whatever.

I'm thinking, eh, I hate that kind of programming, and then they start listing like, these guests that are going to be on the program. And I'm like, hey, cool, because 3/5 of NKOTB! Joey Mac! Whooo!

Then Jordan's Furniture guy says, and Lance Bass!

And I started laughing. Like, he hadn't even finished announcing Lance and I was already laughing so hard that I practically could not breathe, I nearly had to pull over. Lance! On my TV! Again! And celebrating a local thing. I mean, I can understand the NKOTB guys, they're locals. But Lance Bass?

All I can think is, he's determined to take over the world and he's going to start by beaming mind control rays at us through our televisions. There's no other reason for this.

FYI now I guess for Bostonians and others who get WBZ 4: On Wednesday at 7pm? Lance Bass on our TVs. Hee.

Now, I'm off to unite Casual Scully with a new Casual Mulder, since Original Casual Mulder suffered a Season Nine during my move. Yay yay yay for gatherings that result in my very first OTP having a tender moment! ;-)
