"Cold enough for ya?"
"Nah, I'm thinking minus four is more my style."
"Oh hey, you know, go outside. It's two degrees, not factoring windchill."
"Really?"
"Yup! Warmer above the Arctic circle right now, I hear."
"That's crazy!"
"Yeah. Hey, is that a polar bear ice skating past the window?"
Brrrrrr. Two degrees! Obviously, the cold drove people to LJ. Skip=125, people. In eight hours. Either that or y'all were very bored at work. I was not, as all three big things that happen to our kennel during the week--puppy pickups at the airport, vet checks, and advertising placement--were all scheduled for today. That means 400lbs of paperwork to be done, massive refiling after vet check and three hours spent on the phone with various newspaper account reps.
I lost my desk around 1pm. It was buried under so much paper that someone opened the front door and started an avalanche and that was how I found it again.
And now the heat won't kick on in my apartment. *frowning* I've been home for a while and the heat is on 80 but my apartment is at 55. I want to be with Chris and Lance on the Big Gay Golfing Honeymoon, man. Jamaica and Thailand sound awfully nice, right now. I suppose I'll just have to content myself with photographs. Hee.
Also, I can tell that my friends are back at school by the number of quizzes now appearing on my friends' page. ;-)
Hot chocolate time. Also, look! Lilo & Stitch! Because sometimes, a girl just feels like hula dancing with her pet monster, man.
