With much randomness:
Jan. 16th, 2003 08:52 pmLast night, there was Trivial Pursuit. I was my own team and I kicked their teams asses! Ha! Trivialize that, dorkfriends!
*cough*
Tonight, there is...bowling? It's under debate. The general consensus? Kerri will hurt herself somehow. And I hate bowling. There are special shoes involved, man, that's just not cool.
Am considering making a hair donation. Kerri measured--if I cut off ten or eleven inches, it'd still be more than shoulder length. The process of this donation is still a mystery to me, but it is an option.
I took an hour off during vet checks this morning and wrote a bit. Man, did I ever feel naughty. Two pages though, and I have the teeniest tiniest writing ever. It was a relief because I've been working on that story for what feels like forever and only managing to write random bits here and there. That might work for other people but it drives me crazy--I want to sit down and write the whole thing at once and considering that my average story length is 20k, I can usually manage. This one's probably going to be 20k and it's taken me weeks to get it even sketchily outlined in my head.
Kerri's lying on the futon looking at me with the fixed stare of utter boredom. I'm off hopefully for pie but possibly for bowling. If I die of geekiness, will one of you throw like, scraps of shredded fanfic at my funeral? I really think that'd be fitting. Thanks in advance.
