So, Philly. I can haz MCR!

I'm sure that because I bought tickets, there will now be super-convenient MA & CT shows announced in 15 minutes, but. Just in case.

I'm thinking I may actually just take the week of 5/6 off and roam around--I've been restless, I haven't taken a road trip in forever, I haven't ever really been to the middle of the country. I think I might go through Ohio to Lake Erie, then go to Niagara Falls, then home.

Is that the lamest road trip ever? I just can't wrap my mind around going places where there aren't large and interesting bodies of water. *grins*

But anyway. Drama-less presale, Philly, MCR, fangirls, yay. Who else is going?

I'm glad yours was drama-less. Ducat logged me out as I went to buy my ticket, forcing me to do the endless refreshing scramble. Thank god it's a GA venue.

I have my ticket, though whether it'll work out in reality is another story. But still, awesome!

When we lived in Rochester, MrGiraffe and I once took a roadtrip to Notre Dame and then continued all the way around Lake Erie and then back to home. We found an antique mall named [RealName] Antique Mall, which was kind of cool. We also stopped for dinner at a place that gave us a huuuuuuge meal (I had the fried chicken - *three* pieces of chicken, real mashed potatoes, soup, salad and dessert; MrGiraffe had the turkey - a huge pile of freshly roasted turkey plus all the other stuff) and the total for the two of us came to $12.00! Our waitress was pregnant and was *freaked* over our NY license plates. She treated us like we were wolves and any false move on her part would result in us ripping her limb from limb.

Good times. *g*

Uh, me and my man hopefully. Poor [livejournal.com profile] quettaser is not having an easy time with the site and I'm feeling like I'll never get to see MCR again! :/

I wanted to, but in the end I just couldn't justify it, especially on a Tuesday, and in the first week of May. Saturday, I could have done. April, I could have done. So now I'm holding out for MA.

I was thwarted by the presale, but I am going anyway, as [livejournal.com profile] pandoraiam is awesome and managed to get an extra ticket. \o/

I'm hoping to go, but missed the presale (had a lunch engagement I couldn't get out of). I'll have to wait and see if I get a ticket in the general sale.
