Pet picspam
My mom and stepdad have had their dog Molly 18 months now--when our ancient Cocker Spaniel died in the spring of 2006, they said that was it, no more dogs.
Six weeks later, my mom and I were on our way out to the shelter. It was very, very difficult for them to go from having a dog in the house to being without; my stepdad in particular was lonely without his Puppy, so.
Molly took one look at us and started wagging her entire body and grinning, and I looked at her and said, "Who's this happy girl?" and she was just like "ME! ooooooh it's ME! I'M THE HAPPY GIRL, ILU FOR NOTICING!" ♥ ♥ ♥
So, because I am that pet-person, I give you puppy and kittyspam,

This is Molly. Technically she's a dog, but we've never had a better dishwasher.

Or a better Swiffer--when my sister dropped the turkey and stuffing while taking it out of the oven, Molly was On That Mess. The floor was cleaner than it had ever been, ever.

Molly contemplates the snowy backyard.

And would like us to know that we can make the snow go away now. Any time. Really, ANY TIME.
I love this picture SO MUCH. I know the pitbull's reputation (and hate it) and wonder how you can look at such a sweet little face and think this is a bad dog. She's the most loving, hilarious dog we've ever had.

She also very patiently allows me to wrestle around with her on the porch, yelling things like, 'help, help, I'm being Molled,' (misspelling deliberate and totally audible). She's so good about me and my stupid camera tricks, too. I spent like, ALL of Christmas following her around with a camera in hand. *grins* I don't look like me at all in this picture but I love it--I love her FACE so MUCH.

Speaking of Christmas! Santa! Molly knows him!...she thinks. *cautious sniff*
Last Christmas, Molly got her first doggy-jacket, which was blue with brown buttons, and she loved it SO MUCH. She wore it to bed, she wore it on walks, she wore it to the petstore and to the vet and just hanging out at home, looooved it. My mom accidentally put it in a bag of Salvation Army stuff this summer, and so I went out and got her the same coat in pink for this Christmas.

OMG ILU THANK YOU FOR THE COAT is what that face says, in case you cannot read pitbull. She opened her new coat, I put it on for her, she collapsed against my leg and slooooowly slid down it, looking at me the whole time like, yay, yay, ilu. SO cute. ♥

From my sister's POV.

She opens things all by herself AND reads labels. Smart girl!
Ignore the ugly carpet, btw. My mom and stepdad have been mid-renovations on their house for uuuuum, 7 years, and the living room will be the last to go. That carpet, honestly, is almost as old as me and I hate it violently. *grins*

Molly, having ascertained that her toy is acceptable, Goes to Town.
Are you saying to yourself, gosh, that present was very well-wrapped? Well, I had help!

Sally participates in thebullshit 'War on Christmas' with her Happy Holidays wrapping paper.

She also enjoys her some tissue paper.

And some sweater. Nevermind that I was WEARING that at the time.

Such a goofball.
And in case you were wondering if Sally is ALWAYS photogenic?

The answer is no. No. A thousand times no. *grins* Sometimes even Sally Sassafrass succumbs to Wonky Eye Syndrome, sad but true.

Jack does not. Jack the Cat is ALWAYS photogenic, helpful, charming and sweet--
Aahahahahhaaaaaa, okay, so that's a total lie. ♥ ♥ ♥ anyway!
And in conclusion I offer you this:

Miss Molly Rockets would like to assure you that no one was actually WEARING those jeans when she got them, thank you, and good night. *grins*
Seriously, her little face. Even with that one big fang hanging out and the jeans all mangled, she is just the sweetest thing, and I love her to bits.
