I was really taken with the idea that our Pete is the Bad Twin -- and also with the idea that the Bad Twin isn't necessarily *evil*, he's just *messed up*. You know? It worked. And I can *also* totally see Pete the Politician. All I can think is that the kind of general path of polisci is law school is a short skip from politics, which he clearly takes an interest in. So that worked too. *grins* And of course, Pete/Patrick is natural in any universe (though that may just be my OTP talking). *grins*
