The most awesome thing is happening in my living room right now. My sister is currently sitting here talking on her cell phone and lying about her location--'Sorry I couldn't make it home for Mother's Day, Mommy, I'll probably be home Wednesday--I couldn't get the time off work.'

As far as Mom knows, Trisha is coming home for a visit over her birthday next weekend and will only be here a couple days. Heeheeheeeee. My mother? Is going to cry like you wouldn't believe when I show up at her house in an hour with Trisha in tow. :)

I love that! I did that with my parents years ago when I moved back home from San Francisco just before Thanksgiving. Those kind of surprises are great fun.

*grins* They are! Every couple years we manage to arrange it that Trish can come up for something and we don't tell Mom in advance. It just makes her so happy and that's a great feeling. It never stops being fun.
