Happy late birthday!!! I got home from Escapade in the middle of last night, and I spent airport and airplane segment of my 12-hour travel experience reading the Surfacing zines! OH MY GOD!!! I took today off work, and I actually just read your story this morning, in bed, while I was being lazy and tired and not wanting to get up, and I loved it SO MUCH. It was so sweet, and funny, and such a clever oh-those-wacky-Pegasus-Galaxy-cultural-encounters plot device, and did I mention how sweet it was??? Mmmmmmm. So much goodness.
Also, damn, Giddy, you have to come to Escapade sometime! smallbeer and I modded an SGA panel, and there were many Torchwood panels, and a vid show with many Torchwood/Doctor Who vids, and there was a chocolate fountain in the con suite, and we had a popslash Bus School Alum Reunion panel, and I would have soooooo loved it if you could have been there. *sigh*
