I still owe people ficlets from last year, but I'm offering again because this is a good idea with more of a push behind it to actually get something done. Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] kaneko and [livejournal.com profile] merryish.

I don't know if anyone's interested, but I'd like to offer what [livejournal.com profile] eliade is calling 'a gift for a gesture'.

Basically, I will write you anything you like - anything at all*. And if you so happened to make a donation to the tsunami relief effort, that would be wonderful. (For example: Doctors Without Borders or The Red Cross. You can make a donation to the Red Cross via Amazon.

Fandoms on offer: Popslash (Chris/Lance, Chris/Justin, Timbertone, JoeC), Due South (Fraser/RayK), Master and Commander (Aubrey/Maturin), Coldfire (Damien/Gerald), Good Omens (C/A--see, just this morning I said no more good omens! look how long my resolutions last!), The Sentinel (Blair/Jim) and X-Files (Mulder/Scully).

People seem to be doing $5 for 500 words, $10 for 1000 words, $20 for 2000 words, etc, up to 4000 words for an individual story. *The only thing is -- I might not be able to write kink. (It might be best to ask me first.)

If anyone is interested, just leave a comment. It's lateish and I need to go to bed soon, and I'm sure many people are already in bed, so I'm leaving this open. Just in case, I'm setting an arbitrary and totally not gonna stick to it if I don't want to cap of 7 stories or 15,000 words, whichever is more.

It's so great that you're offering this to get people to donate. *hugs* You rock! :-)

*hugs back!* Well, almost everyone I know was planning to donate something anyway. But this is a good way to call attention to the sites and thank people! And have some fun, too, I have to admit. I really enjoy writing for people.
