Two things:
Talliswood is like *crack*. I've been hooked for like, a million parts now, and I check for an update almost *every* day even though I know there's going to be a new part every 3 days or so. This is why I should not read stories that are still in progress--but this one is such a monster that we will all prolly be much aged by the time Tarowen is finished! *G* And some of us, me for example, will still be sitting on our wrinkled asses, using our arthritic fingers to tap out the URL, checking every day for a new section to have our bored great-grandchildren read to us.
And it's weird because, yeah, I like sci-fi but not so much fantasy and *not* so much fannish AUs, and I tend to like things a lot simpler--but! Yes. Love.
Anyway.
I feel better. Trishafish took me out for nachos and shoe shopping, and I love Just Fine and I'm glad I'm not alone. Thank you all very much. :) I feel less like doing what I told one of the girls at work I was going to do--
"I'm going to chop off my head and throw it off a cliff. Then, I'm going to jump off the cliff and jump on my head until it is goo. Then I'm going to light it on fire. That is all."
