I really enjoy a lot of the old plots--there's a reason they keep getting dragged out, I think. And it's always a joy to hear that your own take on them strikes someone else as fresh and enjoyable!

I worked hard to try and make sure that I didn't let the days get stale, without going overboard, so I'm very pleased that you thought they worked.

Also, yes, re: first time stories. Established is good, but there's something about the first time! Maybe it's just that I'm a hopeless romantic, but that moment of discovery never loses its charm. And I think Rodney would probably find a way for John to make it up to him. *grins*
